6 Eco-Friendly Pet Products

We’ve kicked 2023 out the door and made some not-so-daring resolutions for 2024, but who’s to say resolutions around sustainability and loving your planet can’t be easy this year? We’ve rounded up six products from companies with awesome environmental initiatives that will help you and your furry family members do some good for the planet in the new year.

Earth Rated Poop Bags

While poop bags aren’t the most glamorous thing you’ll purchase in 2024, if you have a dog that you take on walks you’ll probably be purchasing them often. These Earth Rated compostable poop bags are vegetable-based and can be disposed of in a municipal compost environment where pet waste is accepted. You can even find a handy dispenser to test them out if you’d like!

Stasher Bags

How many ziplock baggies did you use in 2023 and then throw away when you were done with them? Did you just cringe? Stasher bags are non-toxic silicone storage bags that are dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe and come in all sorts of sizes for anything you’d need. They’re great for meal prepping, travel, and even storing things for your pets, like kibble, when you’re on the go. They even have a super convenient starter kit to get you all set and ready to ditch the wasteful plastic baggies.

P.L.A.Y. Dog Toys

P.L.A.Y. is a company on a mission to help your pet be nicer to the planet this year, and their plush toys are a great place to start. They have toy bundles to help you get a good bang for your buck and all of their plush toys are made with PlanetFill® filler, the same material that stuffs their pet beds we mentioned earlier! Their toys are also (drumroll, please…) machine washable and dryer friendly and feature double-stitched edges, making sure your pets favorite toys live on.
